Solidarity project "A Voz do Estudante" encourages visits to nursing homes
The solidarity project "A Voz do Estudante", coordinated by Professor Fernanda Coelho, with the collaboration of Professor Maria José Barreto and the professors responsible for the Guitar Laboratory, Marco Ribeiro and António Tanque, as well as the volunteer students of the project, made visits to two institutions for the elderly: Lar da Bela Vista and Lar Vila Assunção (Palacete).

Several objectives guided the realization of these visits aimed at students, namely: raising students' awareness of volunteering; promote their personal development and their capacity for social intervention; sharing knowledge between generations and enabling an experience of awareness of the development of the human person.
